Portrait and offer
The MFM programme offers age-appropriate, vivid and attentive workshops on the subject of puberty for children, adolescents and their parents. The events can be booked by schools, educational institutions and private individuals in the area of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising:
The “Body Wonder Workshop” teaches 4th grade children the first basics of puberty. The “Cycle Show – Tracing the Secret Code of My Body” prepares 10–12 year old girls positively for their physical changes during puberty and their cycle activity. In parallel, there is a workshop for boys: “Agents on the Way”, exclusively Here boys learn about their changes during puberty in an appreciative and active way. “WaageMut” is about joint fertility, family planning and relationships. In the run-up to the event, a parent’s lecture can be offered under the guiding principle: “Only what I value, I can protect!”

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
