Portrait and offer
The Women’s Pastoral Care is the specialist center for women’s spirituality and women’s issues of the Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising.
Our motto: To be there for what is missing!
We try to relate the rich Christian women’s tradition to life today. You can find this in our extensive annual program: oasis days, weekends, spiritual hikes and guided tours, lectures, women’s liturgies and much more.
We work interdenominationally and interreligiously. Our services are open to all women regardless of religion or denomination. We work on a multi-professional basis with more than 40 honorary consultants. We are involved in committees, action groups and working groups that aim to improve the social position of women, enforce women’s rights and promote women’s issues in the church and society.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
