Portrait and offer
The Karlotta therapeutic residential group for girls* offers seven places for girls* aged twelve and over on the legal basis of § 27 in conjunction with § 34, § 35 a or § 41 SGB VIII. The girls* receive support to stabilise their personality and their everyday lives in order to gradually overcome problematic behavioural patterns and make progress in their individual development process. The pedagogically supervised everyday life of the girls* is supported by specialised services and, if necessary, external therapeutic support. The girls* are offered a temporary home where they feel accepted and affirmed, receive needs-based assistance and professional support and actively help shape their everyday lives. A social pedagogue takes over the care of a young person and is available as a contact person for everyone involved.
The length of stay at Karlotta is between one and three years, depending on the course of help, age and degree of independence.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
