Portrait and offer
The social psychiatric counseling service is open to all people between the ages of 18 and 60 who suffer from mental stress and mental illness or are affected by it as relatives and caregivers. We provide support in life crises, with questions about mental illness and health, with questions about forms of housing and coping with everyday life, with issues such as work and livelihood, with problems in relationships, with the search for meaningful leisure activities and with the compilation of tailor-made offers. We offer individual, couple and family counseling, home and clinic visits, a wide range of group services, talks with an EX-IN recovery counselor and online counseling.
The service also offers case management, assisted individual living and prevention work at Munich schools.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
