Portrait and offer
The Protestant Counseling Center combines five counseling departments at three locations in Munich:
Marriage, partnership, family and life counseling, counseling for parents, children, adolescents and families (educational counseling), state-approved counseling center for pregnancy issues (pregnancy counseling), Protestant Telephone Counseling Munich and pastoral psychology. Counseling for people with hearing impairments (HuG) is divided into the areas of educational counseling and marriage and partnership counseling and is part of these counseling departments. Psychological information and counseling for pupils, parents and teachers (PIBS) rounds off our counseling services as a branch of educational counseling.
Well-trained counselors help those seeking advice to find a way out of difficult situations. A duty of confidentiality ensures the necessary confidentiality.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
