Portrait and offer
We advise and support women with addiction problems (alcohol, medication, food and behavioral addictions such as shopping or internet addiction). Our experienced team (psychologists/psychological psychotherapists, social pedagogues, psychiatrists) provides support free of charge and in person, by telephone, chat or video and, if necessary, with home visits. Among other things, we offer individual counseling, outpatient controlled drinking, support during outpatient withdrawal and outpatient addiction rehabilitation, hospital placement, aftercare and relapse prevention training. Relatives can also find professional help from us.
We work in a trauma and culturally sensitive manner and respect women in their identity – regardless of their lifestyle, sexual and religious orientation. We look at the individual history and current situation as well as the fundamental living conditions of women in our society.
We stand up for equal rights, freedom from violence and human rights.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
