Portrait and offer
As the first point of contact for families in Hadern/Blumenau, we offer contacts, open playgroups, mini club, courses (health), advice (parenting, families), childcare, exchange of experiences, information, help with problems and much more.
We enable visitors to build up a social, neighborly network, make new contacts or get personally involved. This includes in particular the integration of families with a migration background or families with children/parents affected by disabilities.
The aim is to tailor the program as closely as possible to the needs of the families. Furthermore, the offers are low-threshold and inexpensive in order to enable socially disadvantaged families to participate. Since 2010, the family center has been supported by a social education worker as a constant point of contact.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
