FAM researches, promotes and moves! Its goal is equality and equal opportunities for women and men in all areas of society. FAM’s four fields of work are science and research, education, professional advice and networking between interested women, practitioners of gender equality-oriented work and gender researchers. At the same time, FAM supports the transfer of research findings into practice.
There are currently two target group-specific career advice services under the umbrella of the FAM:

– MOVE! Mentoring: Professional mentoring for women

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
