The DKSB LV Bayern e.V. is a recognized non-profit organization for independent child and youth welfare and an umbrella organization for almost 60 local and district associations.
Based on its statutes and mission statement, the Child Protection Association in Bavaria pursues the following goals: Collaboration in the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and in the realization of a child-friendly society and professional and organizational support of the local and district associations.
The DKSB LV Bayern is a service provider for the local and district associations and is responsible for the sustainable quality assurance of the work on site in the region – through the further training of full-time professionals and volunteers in youth welfare. One of the main areas of professional work is project work in the field of parent education, voluntary support for families in a wide variety of life situations and the strengthening of media skills among children and young people.
