Portrait and offer
The curative residential group offers seven places for girls* and young women* aged 12 and over with and without a history of migration or flight on the legal basis of § 27 in conjunction with §§ 34 / 41 and § 35a SGB VIII. The residents* come from a protection centre, another residential group or directly from their family of origin. They receive psychosocial counselling and support in everyday life. Girls* with developmental disorders, traumatising experiences of flight or impairments in personality development are addressed. With the help of individual and group work, the aim is to compensate for and deal with the lack of parenting skills within the family. Our work is based on the principles of partiality, empowerment, participation, gender sensitivity, a systemic approach and criticism of racism.
We support the girls* in the development of their individual identity and develop perspectives for a self-determined lifestyle.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate. In Munich, there are a large number of organizations, institutions and projects that are involved in the task of implementing equal rights for women, men and people of other genders.
With this “Women’s Handbook Munich”, the Equal Opportunities Office for Women of the City of Munich offers an overview and information on where to turn with a specific concern. More information about the Equal Opportunities Office for Women can be found on our homepage.
