The social psychiatric service for hearing-impaired people is an outpatient facility for hearing-impaired people who suffer from mental stress and illness and need support. Relatives and other caregivers also receive advice and support. The service is responsible for Munich and the surrounding area. The range of services extends from orientation counseling to longer-term support as well as home and clinic visits. In addition to counseling, the service offers other modules such as day care or assisted individual living. All employees are sign language competent.
