The Networking Office for Women’s and Equal Opportunities Officers advises and supports municipal equal opportunities officers in implementing their constitutional mandate to realize equal rights. To this end, it offers further training and other exchange formats on various topics. The networking center has a comprehensive archive on the work of gender equality officers.

The city of Munich stands for an urban society without discrimination with equal opportunities for all. Equal rights are a constitutional principle, but the real implementation of this norm requires cooperation with civil society in addition to a state mandate.
